Well, perhaps I exaggerate just a little, but yes, you need at least 100 to 120 hours to fully experience MM6... it is worth it though

No you don't. And yes it is.

MM6 is still bigger than World of Xeen (MM4+5) btw.

I said can, not will. Learn to distinguish the possible from the definitive.
I also meant the possible. It's really weird to talk about how long a game can take to complete, because it can take ages if you just dick around. Unless by completing you meant "doing every quest and killing every monster and discovering every secret".

Yes, for example, when I play an RPG I try to avoid quests that seem unnatural for my PC.

Of course MM 6 is BIGGER ( 2 x CD = 1.2 GB ) than World of XEEN ( 37,5 MB ) But longer . Hmm I don`t know. MM 6 have 15 maps with 3/4 dungeon on most maps so maybe it is longer but it don`t have 120h of gameplay.

btw. Wizardry 7 is longer.

Unfortunately, some games (like Fallout) strongly encourage you to do every quest possible by rewarding with XP, which is a truly retarded idea for what it's worth.
Quests should yield money, info and (most importantly) respect.
I don't like doing quests for stupid, poor and unimportant people.

it's a matter of convenience to me. If the quest is just too hard i'll make a save, then come back later when i'm higher level. if the game force me to grind it tho...fuck it. I'll just find a character editor and beat it once and move on.

Is choosing evil dialogue options because your character is evil LARPing now, too?

Hehe I meant bigger in terms of map size yes, not HD size :) I am including dungeons.

BTW it was usually said that Jon van Caneghem's skills were more "technical" than the other classic RPG makers (Garriot, Atabek, Fargo, etc). I think MM6 shows this nicely. MM6 has some of the nicest designed dungeons I've ever seen in any cRPG - off the top of my head, Tomb of VARN and Hall of the Fire King at least.

Insert Title Here RPG Wokedex Codex Year of the Donut I'm very into cock and ball torture
Dungeon-crawlers are the only true CRPGs, Fallout and Arcanum are just pretty decent off-shoots, but they don't touch what makes a CRPG all that well.

If there are no consequences to your choice than choosing ANY option means LARPing :P
