Nice to see that Valve takes the easy way out again. This is a great chance to get games you don't like off Steam. Just create some "think of the children" or "anti-sexual exploitation" group and threaten Valve if they don't get rid of battle royale or whatever genre you consider decline. PUBG is troublesome because it shows men killing women! I doubt they'd be so quick to get rid of PUBG though.

Apparently even Geralt of Rivia getting tied to a bed and blue-balled when he decides to two-time Triss and Yennefer isn't exempt from the sexploitation. Are white males finally gaining some rights in this super leftist socialist agenda??!!

"Re-reviewed" sounds like shit is still on the chopping block. Like the decision to cut down on stuff is still there, they were just surprised on how many games came up and how great the pushback would be.

Yeah, HuniePot's second tweet made that clear. It's nice of Valve to give them a reprieve and actually, like, communicate with them, which is more than you can say of Google and Apple, I hear.

I can imagine a few scenarios:
- Honest mistake or rogue SJW employees.
- Valve gave in to SJWs but changed their minds when accused of double standards for indies vs. games like GTA V and Witcher 3.
- Valve gave in to SJWs but changed their minds when they realized that SJWs would ultimately double down and demand censorship of all games, even the likes of GTA V and Witcher 3, and they wouldn't stop there, they'd demand removal of mildly sexual content, swearing, kindergarten-level insults, blood, bruises, band-aids, weapons, fighting, puzzles, difficulty settings, point scoring, winning and losing... hahaha

Grab the Codex by the pussy
One factor that hasn't been mentioned here yet, which may or may not have influenced Valve, is that over the past couple days there were mass flagging campaigns organized to highlight the double standard which targeted more lucrative games mentioned by the NCSE and more, specifically big franchise games like Twitch3r, Far Cry 3, and most importantly (in their view) GTA5. The rationale was that by flooding Valve with these reports in an act of accelerationism, they would be forced to capitulate under the weight of their hypocrisy, since banning these cash cows would be unfathomably horrible for business and would therefore never happen.

Again, I can't say whether this influenced Valve (especially if these takedowns were from one or more rogue employees, which I'm leaning towards), but at the very least their worker monkeys have been busy wading through all the reports.

Just imagine what's gonna happen when Gaben dies.
I think he was secretly dissolved in acid several years ago and replaced by a clone of Doug Lombardi, which underwent plastic surgery and was forced to eat several trucks with donuts (the reason why "Gabe" looks a bit thinner than before).

The Morality in Media group is a 'Murican uber-Christian organization though. Those guys don't like anime tiddies too.

You mean the guy who was in favour of paid mods? What a loss.
People from "inside" the mod scene have said that it was Bethesda's idea and Valve was very reluctant to do it, not because they disagreed, but because they saw the controversy coming. Once the shitstorm hit at lightning speed, they say that it was Valve who pulled out of the deal and told Bethesda to fuck off. It's why they went and created their whole launcher shit on PC.

Looks like at some point it became possible for Steam Curators to review DLC. When did that happen?
