You can download the patches for the EE without any problem. When you apply them, the system will first check if you have registered the copy online or not. That's pretty much the only time when you had to do it and it wasn't mandatory until that point since you could apply the previous patches just fine. I don't like intrusive DRM but I can accept a simple key registering online (without any apparent limit) — and it had the added bonus of removing the disc check for the game.

Honestly, I like English voiceovers better. I'm just afraid some translation may be botched, so I'll stick to Polish.

I went to one of those scenereleases sites, and one release drew my attention. PC Format June cover and it claimed it had the review of Witcher 2! Already? WTF? Maybe they just played the same preview, and made some assumptions about the later chapters, and tried to make it look like they had played the full game. There were still a couple of screens, which I assume are from chapters 2 & 3, which I had not seen before.

So anyway. They gave it 92 points, and basicly liked every thing about it, except the targeting objects with mouse, like having a hard time to open a spesific door, and bugs with map and map markers disappearing and changing all over the place (which doesn't sound like a bad thing, since I planned turning them off anyway).

Disappearing markers are probably a feature intended to harass consoletards ;)

Btw, this game might be actually worth trying out. Combat looks like an incline over the shitty clickfest from TW1.

- Nie, zapierdalam jak dyliżans

I can already tell the english version is going to be the vastly inferior one :smug:

:yeah:

I was wondering if one is able to download Polish voiceovers for English version. I know that UK box (as well as GOG I believe) version does not come with it. Any insight to the matter? It would be a fucking shame to listen to botched and anyway shitty English translation.

Everyone who registers the game, no matter what copy they have, can download both English and Polish audiofiles.

Apparently, that's exactly what they did.
