Witcher 2 was DX9 only game, so no tesselation there.

I really hope they will have DX9 and DX11 renderer in the final game. Something like STALKER having different ones. I still remember you could run Stalker on really modest computers back then and it still looked ok. And when you had strong enough machine you could switch all bell and whistles.
Yes you're right Witcher 2 was only DX9, but looked damn good for that.

What I was saying was that there's no Tessellation in the new Witcher 3 Screenshots yet, and presumably a lot of the other DX11-specific features too if it's still running on the old renderer, even though they've already been talking about it: http://www.rpgcodex.net/forums/inde...-wild-hunt-revealed.80289/page-6#post-2481108

It's also presumably why they won't show any gameplay yet, although they did "demonstrate" the game to Game Informer if you read the article.
