Looks like they will be getting the uncensored version of The Witcher also. But we the fragile in North America will be forced to order from abroad or an Import version from GoGamer if we want to get all the adult oriented content.

Think about it this way: you're paying for virtual porn if you buy the Euro version of the Witcher from the US. That's all you get for your extra money. Virtual porn.

I am thinking of Final Fantasy 4, 6, Chrono Trigger especially. When I was very young I remember begging my parents to buy me the English version (which wouldn't work without an adapter anyway). I was prepared to save up 200$ for each game!
(On an interesting note, all three of this games would have been worth it. So worth it.)

I really hate clarifying that on the internet, however; because of the assumption of being a "LOOK AT ME I'M A BISEXUAL GIRL IN A GAMING COMMUNITY" attention whore.
I've heard that The Witcher has a stat for how many female NPC's you've "scored" with. If that's true, I find that infinitely amusing.

It sounds pretty awesome. Been looking forward to it for a while now.
Agree that rpgs seem to be on the up again after so long in the doldrums. Thoroughly enjoying MotB atm and with The Witcher not far away its a good time to be an rpg'er again.

and download a demo for game called Yoomujak's Ring. It is an adventure game, but not a traditional one. The games voices are Hungarian, as the game takes place in Hungary, subtitles are in English. It works rather well, I think as it adds to the realism and ambience of the game's setting.
Spoiler alert - you have been warned
It also involves some decoding of ancient texts, some mental capabilities, and the game's not holdning your hand. You will need to figure out what to next to progress in the game as the game gives you clues to do so. I know it is not about The Witcher, but I just I would mention it - since maybe the Codex people would like this game, too. I know I did like the demo for the game /end spoiler.
Going back to The Witcher, the game's location looks beautifull and as said, have made me a bit more interested in this game than I was before. I would also like my to voice my support for a totally uncensored Polish version with English subtitles as this only, like in Yoomurjak's Ring, adds to the realism and ambience in the game's setting.
The contents put into the Witcher game, especially in the swamps, and in the cities are also very beautifull. And not only beautifull, but they contain some of the best unique monsters and settings, I've seen in a game in a long long time, probably not since the 'golden days' of say BG1 or BG2. I also like the plot and the story in Witcher, and that it apparently deals with betrayal, hard choices, politics and such things I'm still not that fond of the combat, though...but you can't everything, I suppose...

Polish version will have more complex dialogs in some places, so it's not a stupid idea. The problem is that there will be many references that could be hard to understund for foreigners.
