It's been so long since I played Witcher for four hours then quit it forever and never looked back - are the sex cards ever actually explained?

I mean, I always wondered: Does Geralt just tell these bitches to hold still while they pose like 1990's porn stars and he paints them on tiny cards? Why would they do that for him?, that would sound so unusual to a person in the dark ages. And then, if it's not Geralt making them, then who is making them, and how did he get them from whoever made them?

This is just like in Fallout 3 when that supermarket was full of food 200 years after the war.

Yes, but what loading screens they were, not too shabby at least. (Probably had to be before the EE when the loading times were a lot longer.

No. Even with EE they were too long and there were too many of them.

Oops, did I say fun for what it was? I meant popamole trash and I burned my DVD after I rage-quit after five minutes of playing, and then snorted the ashes as penance.

It depends. It can sometimes take a minute or so to load an entire area up the first time, but more like five seconds to go inside a house or back out.

It's not the only game to still make you wait: try Dragon Age loading Denerim near the end of the game for torture - same map and song over and over again for your declining pleasure.
