The funniest part is that normal women also don't like playing as women in action games. What I hear is "What if I want to be a badass guy, punching and shooting people? What if that's my fantasy?" or "I don't want my female character to be mid-looking, I want to make my character look like a heavily sexualized bimbo on high heels and pony tail dual wielding pistols, why am I not allowed to have my girl fantasy?"
I've seen this as well. Even they don't want to play games with ugly women.

My prediction is the Lynx school is a top secret group of sassy girl bosses with a serious attitude problem, and it is led by a very strict disabled lady who rides around in a wheelchair

like a x-women school, and there will be a point where ciri needs to return to that place and the lady in the wheelchair welcomes her with "i knew you would return. follow me." then you get the all-too-common sequence where you need to walk step by step with the important NPC and there are children all around who transform into lynx and cats and dogs and boys into girls and vice versa and the old lady says laughingly "oh i just love seeing all this degeneracy here, where people can be anything they want." (she probably wouldn't use the exact words, but you get the point). "we got all kind of secrets here the school of the wolf couldn't preserve."

then she hands over the magical mcguffin and shortly after the nilfgaard empire invades and she looks out from the balcony and says "i knew this day would come."

she falls down a cliff to save the school or something
"NOOO miss degenerate, i loved you so much over the whole 5 minutes i have known you!!!"

The lynx school. Couldn't have just gone with the cat medallion she snatched from Bonhart and gone from there, had to be the lynx school. Why does girlboss shit always start with dumbass additions to an established canon.

I mean, yeah. Because women witchers aren't a thing. Apart from the super secretive lynx school, of course. They're all women and super strong and super fast and so wow, Geralt actually met one when he was young and she beat him up but let him sniff and that's why he's been a sex addict ever since.

It's clearly laughing at TW4 being set to become the next Failguard
Never gonna happen. It's gonna be a massive, raging success. Unfortunately.
They said the same about the last Ass Effect too, until it released.
And Dragqueen Age: Veilfart. :smug:
The difference is that Ciri is beloved and popular.
So were Mass Effect and Dragon Age, until EA/Biowhore ran them into the ground.

The shoehorned Mary Sue with princess problems replacing the only single memorable protagonist in the franchise? Yeah, why not.

PC RPG Website of the Year, 2015 Make the Codex Great Again! Grab the Codex by the pussy Insert Title Here RPG Wokedex Divinity: Original Sin 2 A Beautifully Desolate Campaign Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag. Pathfinder: Wrath

We're joined by the Game Director Sebastian Kalemba and Executive Producer Gosia Mitręga to talk about the recent reveal of The Witcher IV, what it means for Ciri to take the lead, and as much as they'll tell us about the gameplay.

It's a big bunch of nothing, sadly. Two blithering idiot faggots, one of them positively retarded, pretending to be doing an interview, not knowing what to ask, coming up with shit on the spot.

You can almost see the cringe flowing out of their mouths.

* Kalemba refers to Ciri as "[a] mutated character".
* No mention of the question how come they have a female witcher
* In the directing of the trailer, they sought to draw a parallel between Ciri and Mioni as both were being sent to a monster (don't ask me).
* The events in the trailer take place "a few years" after we last see Ciri in Witcher 3
* Players will get to "experience what becoming a witcher means". Likely it "means" a tutorial chapter.
* It's worth noting that Kalemba is the least cringe of all who are in attendance (that's my assessment, not mentioned in the interview).
* Ciri is still a source of magic, so the "lost powers" theory is disproven. Ciri's magic is not Geralt's signs
* The chain will be a utility usable in combat
* There will be token C&C in the form of references of Ciri's ending from Witcher 3
* Combat in Witcher 3 was "a bit clunky at times" so they took steps to improve it in Cyberpunk (?!)
* The gameplay will expand on "what monster hunting really means"
* Monsters will be "very organic" and "heavily context-driven", will be noticeably connected to their habitats
* The goal is that after an amount of time spent playing, the player will be able to spot clues for what monsters are around on his own. I don't dare believe anything of this reaches the release version. In the end it will all be "push E to inspect clue", because idiots must be catered to.
* Unlike with Geralt who was much more defined, Ciri is a charter who is "still proving herself". She is "so invested in anything she does". "Very determined, very passionate, very hungry to prove herself, she wants to prove herself in her own eyes, to herself. That's what makes this character super strong". There is no gray for her, always black and white. Ok, so expect the "brave, stunning, fierce" Ciri.
