Chapter 8, The Snail

Ahh, the symbolism is so delightful.

Symbolism? It couldn't be more unsubtle even if the author himself came to your house and started smashing your head with a dictionary

Anyway, you have to admire their dedication: if you were suffering from a horrible transformation into a snail-like abomination, the last thing you would to is to (try to) keep going to school.

PS: The town needs massive exorcisms/purge everything with fire.

That's all I can say about this chapter. At this point I'm convinced the main character is fully aware of what is happening, but she's still staying at this cursed town to see how will this shit escalate. Probably it won't be long until Not-Cthulhu shows up and eats everyone.
