ABOUT THIS GAME​

Torchless is a dark and gothic dungeon crawler RPG played through a text-based retro console. Every choice matters and all choices available to you depend on your heroes, items, and the choices you've previously made along the way.
Experience a nostalgic throwback to the genre-defining classics such as Wizardry and Eye of the Beholder, with modern inspiration from games like Darkest Dungeon, Fear & Hunger, and Dungeon Encounters.

A hero enters the tavern​

Forge your optimal party from a wide cast of heroes, each with their own unique capabilities, strengths, and weaknesses. No hero can do everything, but they all have their place in the dungeon. Finding party members that synergize well and support your style of play is the key to successful exploration.

Exploration of the depths​

With your party complete, you prepare to set forth, for the dungeons on the west coast, in search of a worried mother's lost husband and daughter.
Explore the dungeon depths as you gather loot, manage your resources, and fight the horrors that lurk beneath.
Your party must succeed, no matter the cost.
