Why are we still arguing about weather the extra cash counts or not? Fargo has said it doesn't

We cannot risk healing our creative lead's tormented soul. We might end up with Rainbow Brite RPG or something.

We should torment him more then. Stretch goal: At $3M, Colin has to read from the Complete Book of Elves and explain what he was thinking.

At 3.5M, I will record a video abjectly apologizing. At $4M, I will do it in sackcloth and ashes.

Well nice, they reached 4Mil, barely. I wasn't that wrong when I sayd 4.5 mil + was impossibiru.

That's a pretty loose definition of barely. Now at over 4.2 million and two typically very productive hours left to go.

Obsidian's party was way more entertaining.
With Avellone drinking shots at specific tiers reached, Swayer not finding his place and feeling awkward anywhere,
Urquhart herding and yelling at his emplyees "NO, FUCK YOU [...]" and Avellone wanting to wipe his short term memory, another having a fixation for a specific vodka brand,
annoying kids, women with blond hair harassed on twitch chat, sing-alongs, genuine drunk people, Tim Cain assimilating booze and thinking <<Fuck this shit. I have work to do>> etc etc etc

It feels unfinished (the last fathom). Like there should be one more level to this.

Brother None was right, they didn't have a huge surge in the last day, like other campaigns.

Well, it's done. That's a pretty amazing total overall. Now to spam the voting for turn based over rtwp.

Updated OP for the final time. Good night folks. It's been a hell of a ride, this campaign.

Kinda meh that it ended 200k from the final goal although I already pretty much got what I wanted out of it.
There's always that little voice inside that demands one more. Though it would've been interesting to see what they would've done with the stronghold concept.

As for the stream, I actually very much preferred the interviews to obsidian's party.
I considered it to be much more interesting and informative than a bunch of people drinking beer.
This also has the added benefit of giving the team members more visibility. They're not really a faceless company anymore,
but a bunch of talented people. And imo this helped that transition along quite nicely.

Anyways, congrats to the amazing people at InXile.

Damn, unless I heard it wrong, Fargo's grandfather sermons have been remixed by Mark Morgan into one of the Wasteland 2 cult's broadcasts.

Hurray, less content! :patriot:

Stronghold was unimportant (even if those guys could have made for something interesting) but the part with deeper, longer, more is always welcome. What I think is that those guys, gathered for creative meetings will go deeper and longer anyway. I can picture them doing it. We will get it.

Well...we did. $400K in the final day. $900K in the final five, which is between WL2 (which did something like $400K in final five) and PE (which did $1.25M in final five). It's a good surge, way better than I expected a few weeks ago.

Good thing we got Kevin running things, he was telling us $4M looked really likely like a week ago. He did so much Kickstarter research, I think he called it pretty much flawlessly, at that point (none of us including him expected it to do as well in day 1, but once that craziness was over this total was becoming more likely, +something like $100K thanks to our Pat/MCA SGs).

It was a really great campagin. But I have to say that I was a bit disappointed by the final day(s), which may just be because of P:E's excellent last push.

Also, your wrap-up party felt a little ... impersonal? again. This sounds silly, but, in my opinion, while interviews and such are great, people should be *emotionally engaged*. Especially, if you want to drive pledges up.

For comparison in the P:E wrap-up party I *felt* like part of the party. Having fun just watching. On Wasteland 2 and Torment I felt like a distant viewer. I was interested in the subject matter and so on. But, not much beyond that.

Don't know if that even makes sense, just my feedback.

Obsidians wrap party was a bunch of game developers getting drunk and trying desperately to keep up with a chat-rooms questions. I preferred Inxiles, it only lacked

Different company culture, different sorts of people. Not much to be done about it. Funny thing is Sawyer himself hates parties and skipped from the PE one as soon as he could.

And inXiles looked like grandPa's 70th birthday - minus alcohol. Even the sound died from excitement...
