Not true. In adventure games you need to solve puzzles. RPG are more akin to walking sim. You just need to follow the quests in your questlog.

VR turns mundane interactions and otherwise generic titles into full on immersive sims therefore

I love 3d graphics.

I usually prefer if there's no discernable gameplay, only 3d graphics. My favourite way to play rpg's in fact is to put a Pixar film on, or some 3d animated children's tv show, then sit there moving and clicking the mouse as though I'm playing a game.
