Hm, I have an opinion about the Final Fantasy series. I think the last good game in it was Final Fantasy 6.

Final fantasy 7 remake is one of the most overrated games of all times with the retarted story and dialogues. Not sure how people like it. All the characters are irritating unlike the original with stupid popamole backstory flashbacks. The original was indeed the same but atleast it gave less time to these horrible backstories and sidequests. not sure why codex loves it. There is nothing good except for the combat.
Who is this supposed to trigger?

They butchered the story in remake. SAD!

I was about to post something very triggering but I stopped myself.
You could say I pulled the trigger on that one.

Worry not king, I'm here for you. I can see by your banners that you've supported DorkUnderpants's cocaine addiction three years in a row, which makes you a gullible fag and your taste in game dubious

I've been on the Internet for probably longer than you've been existing, you're going to need something stronger than "gullible fag" if you want to trigger me.

Old louts like you and your dementia-fueled antics are the reason Codex Top RPGs lists are a joke

You can remove all party members and add new ones in games like Bard's Tale, Pools of Radiance, Wizardries, Might and Magics, Icewind Dale, et cetera. Therefore, you're playing as the party manager not any single character. Codexers have said many times Jagged Alliance isn't an RPG because laptop guy doesn't have stats so a large swath of popular 90's RPGs aren't actually RPGs following the Codex's boilerplate.

I've probably said this before but bears repeating.

The decline of gaming started with Might&Magic 3. What a dumbing down compared to MM2! Most Codexers prefer 3 to 2, and thus are part of the problem.
  • Isles of Terra had lovely puzzles (probably the best in the series). Gates barely had anything reminiscent of puzzles (the unfortunate cryptogram at the end, maybe Mark's keys, ...?).
  • Gates themselves were trivial compared to the Secret of the Inner Sanctum. Even when the enemies were tougher, I could almost always just escape from them (not so obvious in the first game, where liches or dragons could disembowel half my party before I had time to do anything constructive). What follows, the saving mechanics (only at the inn) became merely a hindrance rather than the centerpiece of this game's mechanics.

M&M 2 gave us level scaling. The decline started long before Bethesda did it!
