The combat in PS:T is so mind numblingly tedious that it would have been better as a pure CYOA.
I know RTwP sucks but replacing it with CYOA does not sound like an improvement. So you would have a book open up at the start of each combat and you need to open the pages on the correct sequence to win the fight? Sounds retadred.

it's other way around - someone should mod good combat in and cut all boring walls of text. planet escape tournament is worst thing that happened to rpg games. actually worse than todd. it's thanks to chris we now have disco furry and veilguard.
