Western rpg art styles are too ugly. Uglier than real life. It's funny to me they say its more realistic. It absolutely isnt. The average woman isnt unattractive at all, most are fine. There's a reason Average is a term in regards to looks. There is a reason women AND men in movies, cartoons, arts in general, are beautiful. We like what is beautiful, it attracts us, it enhances the performance. We strive for beauty, not for ugliness. Beauty is a virtue. For some reason it does not apply anymore on games, which is a media that was taken hostage by certain people. But it is still pretty much alive in movies and theaters.
