The v1.2 patch, available at numerous sites such as www.fileplanet.com or www.gamespot.com, should fix the problem, but it won't work if you've already started the level. If you're starting from a saved point within the catacombs, or even sooner I'm not certain, then you'll still get the crash.

Anyways, about the console. If you've done everything right, then hitting the tilde brings up an interface that you can type commands into. Its what developers use to test and try the game.

Just so you all know i am really really really thankful for all of your help... it all worked great and now i have finished the game... thank you again :D

So, the Codexers helped someone finish Bloodlines. Too bad no one helped Troika with that.

I was really, really sad during the tentacle fight and the last big duel.
The game is great for quite a long time, and on the whole is very good imo. But the ending parts were so lame... e.g. SPOILER the Mandarin leaving the game right after he appeared, while he could've been developed into an interesting character.

Hello,

with Bloodlines, I have a launch problem. With the Patch v1.2 installed, on winxp....with the CD1 inserted in the CD unit

The message says: "The CD1 not detected
Vampire has detected a CD unit emulator running, please turn off the emulator and run again Vampire."

But there is no CD emulator running and the PC accesses the cdrom drive where the CD is inserted

When I lauch the game without CD in the unit, The message only says that Vampire does not find the CD1, please insert the CD and lauch the application

For information, in my computer, with no changes of hardware, Bloodlines used to work well, I reached the last chapter, I killed the werewolf(with a malkavian, without fortitude...), and I took the taxi... but then I stopped playing for a while, and when I wanted to finish the game, it didn´t work. The only changes in my PC may be the windows updates.

Get a nocd fixed exe from gamecopyworld. Since you apparently own the game there's nothing wrong with it and it's legal (well, not quite, but it's not illegal either) to do so.

Hello,

This problem I wanted to solve inmediatly, so I try uninstalling some programs, daemon tool, etc, but it was clone CD the problem

Now it works

I own the original, that´s why the problem seemed weird to me.

I did not thought in a nocd application, I would not have lost so many time

Thanks Monocause
