I ma cautiously oiptimistic about this game. Unlike most, I don't get super worked up about dialogue choices and story. If the game offers good playability, interesting character development, and fun stuff to see/find I will enjoy it. If the main quest is interesting that will be good enough for me.
You're dead here, my friend. Better get the hell outta here, before codexers rip you in to pieces and eat your brain and eyes.

Will there be a playable demo released for the game and if so what will it contain?
Two Worlds is so expansive, it didn’t seem right to us to unfairly try to encapsulate it with a demo.
Yes, God forbid players try the game first and discover that it's another overhyped and empty title. We can't have that, can we?

Don't fret, there are always 'demos' on ED2k and torrent

I think by character development he means levelling up, skills and loot (basically all possibilities for customizing your character) not necessarily interesting personalities.
