This might be hyped up fake drama. Ubisoft Montreal is a huge huge studio, a feeder for the entire gaming industry. People are going to be rising up through the ranks and leaving for greener pastures constantly.

Ubi claims that they have a slightly elevated fluctuation, but nothing extraordinary. I think it's just Axios trying to generate some woke drama.

Ubisoft stock lost 44.62% since january , was wondering why especially during covid pandemia, now it's obvious. Fake drama i dont think so, we just only learn about it now. It's hard to find something as catastrophic this year where pretty much every thing gains 25%.

Ubisoft had the problem that they don't have a service game cash cow. They'll fare better when AC Infinity will be successful and they maybe toss in some metaverse bullshit.

It's a Steven Tortilla (former EiC of Kotaku) article about MuhTwo and Muh Working conditions you tards.

Who do you think you're fooling, NPC? You're a vaxxapusher, the biggest NPC SJW type there is.

Now just go take the vaxx, we all know what (((you))) are.

Anyone involved in the games industry is pretty much the most cucked person you've ever met. Talented people with polished skillsets being convinced to work for way less than they are actually worth, and get treated like shit, because of "passion", and being involved in the super important culture of making toys for adults, LOL.
100% accurate. It would be different if "passion" paid in the form of deciding which games to make, which features to work on, etc. But if that was your goal, you should have went into marketing and learned how to make misleading powerpoint presentations.

Ubisoft shares plunge again after investor urges company to go private
Recent releases including Star Wars Outlaws and XDefiant have reportedly missed expectations

Ubisoft’s share price plunged again on Monday after a minority investor called on management to take the company private or let it be sold to a strategic investor.

The Assassin’s Creed publisher’s share price fell almost 10% during trading today, before closing down 7.13% at €13.67. It has fallen by more than 50% over the last 12 months and now sits close to a ten-year low.

The company’s share price had already declined significantly earlier this month, reportedly driven by a combination of a poorer than expected launch for Star Wars Outlaws and a sharp decline in interest in free-to-play shooter XDefiant.

On Monday, hedge fund AJ Investments published an open letter calling for strategic and structural changes at Ubisoft.

It urged the board to consider taking the company private, “implement a comprehensive cost reduction program and optimize staffing levels to be more comparable with industry leaders,” increase its focus on core IPs, and consider replacing current CEO Yves Guillemot.

Slovakia-based AJ Investments holds less than 1% in Ubisoft, according to the Wall Street Journal.

The creative director of Star Wars Outlaws has said he’s a “little disappointed” with review scores for the game, and that developer Ubisoft Massive is committed to improving the title with post-release updates.

Ubisoft today began rewarding XDefiant players with free virtual currency for logging into the game, seemingly in a bid to boost engagement as the title’s first season of live content draws to a close.

Going private won't save them without competent devs.
All that shoving incomptetent DEI slobbers leads to making companies cheap and easy to buy.
Just one tap, one crisis and all will be Their...

I thank Ubisoft for their Might and Magic games and Myst but that is a very long time ago. Hope the company goes broke and we will never hear from them again.
They literally killed MMX by turning off the servers that allowed access to much of this game content (including dlc). And they made some crappy HOMM games. No reason to thank them for that.

Apparently the EU are after them (and EA) for their online store currency scams :incline:
