Great changes, especially increased combat speed (and the font). It's a shame that walking can't be sped up from the options though and cheat engine is still a must. I don't care about world map though (in fact I prefer if there was none). The option to skip intros during arena matches would also be appreciated (Carnifex intro lasts 5 minutes FFS).

Yeah, that's annoying, but at least since one of the patches the game autosaves before the combat.
Before that patch that was the only fight where it didn't do that and I thought it was intentional.

I wonder if the long intro is so you can't go in the fight with all buffs on. FFS, my highly efficient shield was almost depleted by the time the fight started.
They could just cast dispel on you if that's the intention. :troll:

The long intro is there to make you truly suffer when you are defeated, because you know you will have to sit through that intro again. Styg is a cruel mistress.

Well, it made me give up. Only once I managed to survive his first turn, rest of the time he often even one shots me.

And the time I managed to survive I lost the fight because of a stupid mistake.

I appreciate the difficulty of the combat, though, even if it feels really unfair.

My build is definitely shit...well, unoptimal at least...nah, it's shit. But hey, your first and crappy build in a game is always the most fun, at least for me.

I'm hoping the patch fixed the "failed to load zone on transition" bug. Anyway, started again just going to steamroll stuff with my imported character from the prior bugged game.
Drama over fonts seems like one of those things that would drive people away from indie development, if you can read it, it's not really a problem...

Now, a-la Fallout travel -with limitations, under certain conditions- would be something a nice world map could go along with.
(but when i mentioned that, certain basement lords went edgy/one-liner response activated, so there you go..)

Man, when I was, what, in middle-school, drawing those maps of the celllars, Mangar's Tower and the Castle, in Bard's Tale I,
the boy-friend of my best mates older sister gave me his maps of BT I & II and also of Pool of Radiance and Curse of the Azure Bonds.
He told me, I'd understand one day, when I got older and there where other things than school and computer that might get interesting.
Didn't know what he was talking about. I just felt like a lucky punk with all this, partially unfinished, maps and annotations.

Now, that I'm old, and women, porn, booze, hookers and coke are a thing, I ain't got no freakin' time for drawin' maps man.
Did I ever have? All those hours, days and weeks. If I never meet my younger self, I'd slap him and tell him to get a job!

Limited, Fallout I style known locations travel? Already decline. Just bearable. Just!
Back then, when they released AD&D 2nd edition, everything was going down the drain!

Fuck why did he go for such a shitty Humanist font. The previous fit the game better. Fuck

Seriously Styg what the hell, at least make a choice between both.

Still the best game of 2016 for me.

I'm not a fan of the font now either. Can you not make it bigger without changing the way it looks? Game of the year anyway.

Wow that font looks really off. Never had a problem with the old one, honestly. Why isn't the inventory just sorted out by our own custom tabs (as it works on Diablo or Neverwinter Nights)? I'd just like to be able to shove all keycards in one screen, all combat gear in another, etc. as I see fit

Maybe with this patch I'll bring myself to finishing this after putting 70 hours in, currently sort of burned out on it right after clearing most of the lower Underrail content.

Well, I've just seen it in-game and it's definitely more comfortable to read, though that may just be the increased size. I do still think it looks "tacky", though.

As soon as I kinda grow fond of the old font, they up and change it. Oh well. Looks... okay, I guess. Better first impression than the old dotted one made.
Anyway, the reason I'm talking about the font is that I find the game to be nearly perfect in all that it does, and I want to remove the small imperfections
