Again -hardly important - but if you have Moltenflow's toy already he won't give you the quest (though if you put it in his dresser and ask him again he will.

You must be mistaken. I checked this yesterday. He gives you the quest even if you have the toy in your inventory.

Thanks for this, I wish I could be more help.

-The descriptions for medium and small Arcane platemail do not match thier effects.
-Magnus' bracelet and Auto skeleton keys inventory graphics sometimes appear without any color making them almost invisible on the inventory background.
-Magnus' gauntlets do not allways confer thier stat bonuses when worn.
-Gauntlets of dexteritys description neglects to mention thier DR.
-Enchanted warboots description neglects to mention thier speed bonus.
-If you enter the Wheel clan without having spoken to mr Twostones, the guards at the door and Randvar still talk to you as if you had completed the quest to search for the black mountain clan on the Isle of despair, IMS you can tell Randvar about mr Twostones plight without your character having heard anything about it from anyone aswell.
-Mindmarvel doesn't work properly sometimes.
-If you decrease Chukkas alignment enough with a Dark helm to make him leave your party he will inform you he is doing so with dialouge befitting one of greater intellect than his own.
-If you decrease Jayna's alignment enough, when she charges into battle she will do so with the sound of a monster as opposed to that of a human being.
-Entering turn based combat mode reveals your presence to others when invisible.
-Dante and mr Twostones can join you regardless of your parties size
-Various dialouges can be avoided by clicking on your quick item slots

Machined plates abscence of a strength bonus in the games final release was done to balance the game.

Alerted sound in the female soundbank is somewhat strange, but I wouldn't go as far as calling it monstrous.

The spell was meant this way (it even says so in the description!). Entering real-time combat reveals you too.

Can't fix with out the game's source code. At any rate, it doesn't break anything if you don't abuse it.

Why are you lying? The script was added in the official patch, although the script counters were broken and there was a typo in the wield off script as well, and I fixed it.

Some more bugs:

-In Tulla, you can get all the master of magic reputations if you get all the medaillons before the test, you should get only one reputation.
-Dread Armor HP is a bit off (10000), the best magic armors don't have more than 500 and the other barbarian armors have 50 HP...
So it would be 50 or 100 (if you think that the Dread Armor should be stronger than the other barbarian armors).
-The inventory size of the barbarian armor:
The barbarian armor are cloth and a little metal, they can't take as much space as a full metal armor.
It should be noted that the bronze armor is smaller than the the other armor, its size is fitting what a barbarian armor is.

And now, what's the difference between the bronze cloths and the barbarian armor ?

-You and I must be hearing different sounds, the sound I am hearing is without a doubt that of some kind of monster. You should test it, the sound wont be sourced from the female soundbanks, I know what chicks sound like man and that ain't nothing like no human chick I ever heard.
-Invisibility should not reveal you when you enter combat mode as you may not necessarily be attacking, the description says " turns the target invisible EXCEPT WHEN ATTACKING" not "EXCEPT WHEN IN COMBAT MODE". There is nothing particularly revealing about entering combat mode and no reason why entering it should end your invisibility, the fact that a character can run past someone at full speed practically touching them but not make a slight stance change at a fair distance and remain invisible is wrong.
-Dante and Thorvald wer intended to stay with you for only a short time, it is only through an exploit that you may keep them on.

With regards to your quesion "Why are u lying?" I'd like to reffer you to my first comment in this thread. It is not as if I have any programming knowledge and was secretely aware all along that machined plate was actually intended to be a certain way. I am flatterd by the notion that I could actually comprehend the inner workings of this game though. Hope you keep up the good work.

And the original files show that it was a bug:
-Fixed Darm Helm. Its effects are no longer permanent. (Original script contained a typo, wrong line number)


-Invisibility should not reveal you when you enter combat mode as you may not necessarily be attacking, the description says " turns the target invisible EXCEPT WHEN ATTACKING" not "EXCEPT WHEN IN COMBAT MODE". There is nothing particularly revealing about entering combat mode and no reason why entering it should end your invisibility, the fact that a character can run past someone at full speed practically touching them but not make a slight stance change at a fair distance and remain invisible is wrong.

Oh about Tulla, there's something that always bothered me. They won't let you in if you accepted Kan'Hua's quests, but they will if you have 100 technological aptitude. It makes no sense at all that they would allow a technologist in a full-magic city. Is there something to be done about this?

Tulla is the city of the Good mages...
If you accepted Kan'Hua's quest, you are evil and so, them being good, they can't accept you. If you want to enter, then kill them (you are evil after all). And you don't have to go there to finish the game...

Being technologist in Tulla makes as much sense as a elf in the wheel clan, a dwarf in Tsen Ang or Quintarra...
You can't be normally allowed in but there is a plot.
You can at a point enter but you will be despised by the inhabitants.
If Tulla helps you, its not because you are technologist but for the greater good (and the game plot).

Initiiating conbat mode simply allows you to attack with a non grenade like weapon, it does not initiate an attack. You could take a host of non attacking actions from combat mode many of them the same or no more noticeable than an action you may take outside of it.
For the time being I will remain in noncombat mode when I want to be invisible but it would be good if this bug wer fixed.

Re: the toy - it definitely did happen - he was happy to talk but didn't offer the quest until the toy wasn't in my inventory - I've got to start recording these saves (I don't have this one any longer...).

You can do a whole bunch of things whilst in combat mode besides attack. What if I wanted to backstab someone to take advantage of the fact they wer unaware of me due to my invisibility? I couldn't do that because they would be made aware of me the second I went into combat mode.

I agree but you can also do a lot of these things in normal mode.

And a backstab is an attack...
If you want to use invisibility to go near an enemy, you can but before the beginning of the fight (ie before pushing the combat mode button).

I wasn't talking about using invisibiliy to get close to the enemy I was talking about using it to take ur oponents unawares, backstabing an unaware oponent confers a big bonus.

I suppose, the invisibility spell was given such penalty to balance the prowling skill. If invisibility wouldn't reveal you, then what's the point in prowling?

It's easily changed with Worlded...

The MiniMap of Blackroot is missing the railroad...

And the MiniMap of Tulla has some pink artefact in the towers...

Yes, there were missing tracks in Blackroot and "bad art" thing in the middle of Kree. I don't see anything wrong about Tulla though (pink artefacts? the flames?). And what level of BMC are you referring to?

Also, to all people reporting bugs, when replaying the game, please pay attention to unique items some NPCs (mostly merchants) have. Lots of these items have wrong/missing descriptions or are unuseable (i.e. there's spell mana store ("uses:X"), but the spells can't be used).

Some possible bugs...as this is my first time actually playing this game I'm not too sure but these do annoy me...

patched to ...20 but the new game was from ...15


A torch lying on the ground appears as a labeled square.

Healing from the herbalist in Tarant seems to only fix your scars if you have damage and then only occassionally.

Virgil is reluctant to heal Magus but will heal other tech oriented characters up to almost full health. The only time he'll do it is if Magus is at extremely low health or if you're running through some town.

Leather Guard and Leather armor have exactly the same stats...the only difference it seems is that you can't sell the Guard to most merchants.

The critters in Tarant's warehouse district can sometimes attack through walls.

Liam's mother in black root sometimes as an aura around her and sometimes doesn't even though she always wears that inversion cap.

Attacking with some of the grenade like weapons seem to give you unlimited ap and does not do much damage you or your party even on hard. NOTE: I am extremely reluctant to call this a bug/ it appears more like a feature to balance tech characters to me since removing it will screw them over. You have to be right on top of the enemy in order to use grenades anyway otherwise their inaccuracy is atrocious. So adding self inflicted damage in will probably make the grenades useless, at least to nonspecialized characters.


The crash to desktop on death still is present...I'm not sure why.

oh and I can't believe I forgot this but this really pisses me off, when you try to use thown weapons half the time they simple drop at your feet...Is that supposed to happen?

Prowling has no fatigue cost.
