I have often wondered the same thing myself. I especially lament the fact that they did not survive long enough to produce VtMB 2 (and 3, 4, 5, …). They were amazing at design and development, but poor at debugging and delivery of a quality final product. Nothing they produced was even remotely bug-free. Perhaps a bunch of developers do not think in terms of “striving for perfection,” but rather focus on being “artistic and innovative.”Chefe said:snip...
No game is ever complete, but damnit Troika! What happened?

She isn't in the game. Troika probably just forgot about her...Whispering Darkness said:Where is Mother Tilley? She seems to not be at the inn. Caleb tells you that the shack to the west is where the she would be.

Whispering Darkness said:When speaking with the halfing bandit in Caleb's bar he says something that looks grammatically incorrect. Line 6: "... ... Your thoughts?
The female variant of this line sheds some light on the matter:HanoverF said:Or add a day after the

The halfling and half-ogre are both from Black Root. I can't tell if this was intended or not, so it stays.Whispering Darkness said:What is Franklin Payne's home town? He complains that the halfing bandit in Caleb's bar is from his home town if you attack him. Is Tarant his home town? Even though he doesn't mind if I slaughter the rest of the halfing's group?
Yes, some of his later lines are missing VOs, i.e. there are no files.Whispering Darkness said:I do not know if this is a bug or not but he is missing some VOs... I do not have the lines but it is when you asking plot related questions. Asking about Island of Thanatos, or Vendigroth Wastes, or Ruins of Brodgar [294]. The ones without VO seem to be the ones that are not 'where am I' questions.
