It is not the same game! I am not sure but this seems as the sequel and it is from the different team. (Vampire World was from Russian team and wasn't released outside
Russia) However Vampire Hunters was 100 percent done in Vienna by Cmedia company.

Yet the last page of the manual has this:

This is what I found:
"Mayhem Studios was closed in 2008. Vampire Hunters was completed by Austrian company Cmedia. Basically it is a sequel of Vampire Story (World). It includes also few parts of the original game but the engine is different and the graphics was completely redone."

Meantime I am completing walk-through for the game. All comments are welcome but please only from people who ACTUALLY played the Vampire Hunters game.

Dunno how that trailer could convince anyone to buy the game, though. The character walks a few meters, the player spins the camera a bit. The character manipulates a valve. Inventory is shown.

Indie games don't have to suck, but trying to imitate corporate games with an orders-of-magnitude smaller budget sucks, a lot.

Mayhem Studios was closed in 2008.

That seems to be true. The vh.eu domain is registered to Tomas Bencik, who was the game director for all Mayhem games and is now apparently working in Infinion.

Vampire Hunters was completed by Austrian company Cmedia.

The only thing that needed completion was the english translation - which was already almost done in german release.

Basically it is a sequel of Vampire Story (World). It includes also few parts of the original game but the engine is different and the graphics was completely redone.

From the video, I can see that it features same user interface, identical areas, cutscenes, combat system, QUESTS and items. Nice sequel you have there

Vampire Hunters is english release of Vampire World and it was mabe in Slovakia CMedia is publisher
