Sauce: https://www.argn.com/2019/02/tender_beta_arg_about_vampires_trust_no_more/While the Tender app is currently the primary way to get engaged with the story, a post on Trust No More hints of a live event in Manhattan on February 23rd with some peculiar requirements: in addition to asking if prospective attendees can livestream the event, familiarity with American Sign Language and lockpicking is considered a positive.
Sauce: https://www.trustnomore.com/2019/02/15/tender-its-spreading-influence/Tender plans to organize a controlled test group on the 23rd. These are 4-hour sessions where they will monitor your biometric data while using Tender, and, based on the result, their algorithm will assemble you into two groups that have to tackle and escape the room.
It mentions the Masquerade by name? The hype website is also linking to articles claiming that Tender is a Masquerade marketing scheme. In other words, it's basically confirmed now.
You can also participate online during the live event. Here is what's happening tomorrow (February 23):

Yes, yes. But TNM is also part of the whole ARG fiction. I'll predict that after they decrypt the remaining files of the Project Chimera, we will get to see some weird vampire shit, and they won't understand the nature of what they are watching.I think the Trust No More thing is in-house, like the Halo 5 conspiracy hype train. Kind of a stupid gimmick, but it's a scheme that exists.
One could argue they already know too much, and are getting their hands on damaging/troubling information:Quite the opposite actually, why raise suspicion by silencing them?
Source: https://www.trustnomore.com/2019/01/18/tender-the-disparate-pieces/We recently uncovered a cache of data under the label “Project Chimera”. We do not know what that is yet. The folder contains vast amounts of files and information. Each piece seems unconnected, even random. The only connecting thread is the current CEO of Tender, Malcolm Chandler.
Source: https://www.trustnomore.com/2019/01/26/tender-paranoia-rising/Things are getting scary. My phone keeps ringing (UNKNOWN NUMBER), and when I answer, there is no reply. I’ve stopped answering. I get the sense I’m being followed in the streets. Last night, there was someone standing across the street just staring up into my apartment window. A few contacts have failed to reply to my messages the last few days, and I’m worried.
Dear friends,
With the help of my formers co-workers at Tender, I was able to delve deeper inside their infrastructure, and what I have found doesn’t look good.
This weekend Tender is planning a control group for their Regent Dashboard. You can read more in this memo we managed to dig up. It’s written by their CEO, Malcolm Chandler.
We managed to secure 8 volunteers who were courageous enough to go on location. I‘m managing the details with them but they won’t be alone. More than 847 people have confirmed their support online, and we hope you will join us.

We need to infiltrate Tender’s system to get our 8 undercover players on the guest list. They use a unique code at the door. While I work on the guest list, try to see if you can find anything useful, and let Knox know.

Inb4 this marketing campaign turns out more interesting than the game.
what if it IS the game
While not always the case, these types of ARGs tend to involve existing media or upcoming releases thereof; for example, a game developer might include clues for an ARG inside one of their games, or might create an ARG to lead up to a release of content.
