The ewoks was kind of stupid, but always taken out of proportion. In the movie you don't see a single scene of a Ewok killing a stormtrooper. Just possibly knocking some out, but not even that would be clear. Calling it a "massacre" without a single confirmed killed is a bit to much.

Thanks for the article. I've never actually been a fan of Star Wars and I thoroughly approved of MCA's brilliant setting rape in KotOR II (as well as the ensuing butthurt from the BioWare/Star Wars fanboy squadron) but that article was very enlightening and explained a lot of things.

I haven't played DA1 but I am quite sure that the original did not have the stupid cooldowns on skills and item usage. Depressing a button might make awesome happen but you've got to wait between the awesome sequences which defeat its purpose.
