Compared to Vicky 2, UI here looks like shit.

This rascism against spreadsheet gamers needs to stop. Mobile POS UI GTFO.

Johan is now the forever "how to not do it" example.

Our vision for Victoria 3 is to create what we call a ‘Society Sim’ – a game that is first and foremost about the internal workings of the 19th-century country that you are playing and how its society is shaped over the course of the game. Politics, Economy and Diplomacy are the three most important parts of the game – Wars are of course a part of the game (just as they were a part of the Victorian age), but Victoria 3 is *not* a wargame or a game about map painting.

our ambition is to create a worthy successor that stays true to the core values of the Victoria series while using what have learned over the last decade in terms of making games more accessible

It looks like the game will be focused on the social revolutions and shit. Also it looks terrible,on top of that very few provinces,it really looks like shitty game for mobiles or switch.

"Wednesday night"

Always felt like Victoria got the short end of the stick in terms of "turns" compared to their other series. It still moved by the day despite being only a hundred years compared to 300-400 like EU and CK, but obviously was too long and not period appropriate to move by the hour like HOI. Day/night turns seems like a nice compromise.

Nobody is asking the important questions, will there be industrial mana and railway mana? Spend 100 industrial mana to turn Mogadishu into the industrial capital of the world!
There's literally a post several above yours confirming that there won't be mana.

I don't believe that. Bet there'll be shitloads of mana and Wiz will just go "nuh-uh, this isn't mana, this is Points™". Abolishment of mana would mean return towards simulation over abstraction, yet that's complete opposite to the trend in Paradox games throughout the last decade, and I seriously doubt that Paradox is willing to go that route, or that it's even capable of it at this point.
