although he's already stated he'll return here to 'collect his bets'

He's already collected his bets. I paid up my $1 because I could see the shining light up ahead. JCD has nothing to gain by coming back here. His bluff has been called and he'll have to find another target to obsess over and another RPG fan site to screw over.

We're indeed living in strange new times, my friends.
Will the Golden Neanderthal be the new harbinger of Incline, or will he just prove to be another false prophet? Let's stay tuned.

Sirotek just posted a comment on the Greenlight page

"Hey Cleve, I know Matt is great and all, but what about interview with Infinitron?! I heard he is one of the best (if not the best), when it comes to promoting developers."

It's not coming out now, but in "May 2017". The price will be slightly higher than for backers, so expect something like $39.

That's all well and good, Cleve, and personally I don't believe you lifted or kept any code for yourself from SoA (for that would have been monumentally stupid), but jcd's claim that there are multiple references to Sir-Tech in the decompiled code (of I assume the Super Demo) is an interesting and, I must admit, plausible one. I mean you had the means and the motive and, of course, the time.

Comment on that, specifically?

That's what JCD said. JCD is a guy in Eastern Europe in some hovel with no running water who somehow has an internet connection. He has nothing to do with anything having to do with anything.

There is no decompiled binary and no references to Sir-Tech of any kind in Grimoire in text, code or anything else. Do you believe somebody on the internet if they tell you that they were abducted by a UFO last night and visited all the major planets before fathering a child with an alien female?

I'm telling you right now I can alter matter by whistling. Do you believe me? I just said it on the internet.

That claim doesn't really make sense though...you don't "decompile code" to look at the text strings, which is the form that I'd assume any "reference to Sir-Tech" would have to take? It got me curious enough to look, though...but the only interesting reference inside the Superdemo's executable is to the Fastgraph Library, V6.03 (which Cleve has talked about using before). Plenty of more stuff in there too but nothing exceedingly interesting, unless you would like to know that Cleve keeps the Grimoire source tree in c:\grimoire\code\game.

Hypotetically speaking, should it be difficult to transform the game like MM6? I mean totally "3d" without boring arrows rotation ?

GRIMOIRE CHARGING LIKE A BULL AT CLOSE OF THIRD DAY!!
1 April - GOLDEN ERA GAMES
Grimoire is now #54 out of the top 100 games on Greenlight at the end of the third day. We have surpassed other games with far greater publicity and marketing that have sat on Greenlight for weeks, months or even longer. We are traveling in the company of many great games and the competition is getting tougher by the minute. Nevertheless we believe that Grimoire is so exceptional that it is headed for the top ten before it is done. Please tell everyone you know about this Greenlight page and send the link to anybody you believe is interested in this genre. We need every single vote we can get to push us up to the top of the queue. Let Steam know how that players value true quality in game design by helping us to put Grimoire in a place that seems impossible - at the top of Greenlight.
