Dawn of War II single player was pretty atrocious too. Thumbs up to them for having a real coop campaign in that game, but that was one of the very few cases where coop didn't stop the game from being any less boring.

The reason for that was indirect unit control that is typical for this type of game. Nothing wrong with that, but it was so limited and streamlined, that there was no gameplay to speak of.

Yeah...the good point of DoW2 is multiplayer, which unfortunately is too micro heavy for me to enjoy.

No, the reason was the stupid fucking linear corridor maps. JUST like this game.

I have a feeling if I had started playing Relic games before DoW2, I would be complaining hard about decline. But I guess I'll have to wait for DoW3 for that.

I've been playing Relic games since forever and you don't want to know how much they've declined.

(hint it is a lot)

Played for about 2 hours with Ed and I like it. Pretty fun. Pretty tough.

The only thing I'm worried about is again the lack of variety. So far I've only seen Orks. Gameplay-wise, that's fine, because there are various Ork units. But I dunno if it will get stale soon because of the lack of other races.

No weapon progression. Too bad but it was to be expected. Anyway I should be able to play with you guys at the end of the week (steamname still being Gragt if any of you do not have it).

More like most of us aren't fewls paying full price for games with little to no replay value and lackluster multiplayer. :M

I figured Relic would at least support the game as much as they do with DoW2. But holy shit did they and/or THQ drop the ball. Would've been a fine game had they released the DLC in time (or, actually, EARLIER). Maybe if they release DLC (and sale) really soon they can save the game.

There's no real flaw in the game besides not having enough to do. Retarded.

Exterminatus is not even close to the amount of content (variation) as Last Stand, which was also a free DLC.

Yeah, game could have been so much better. It does what I expected of an action game, and then some more, but at the same time it just leaves the feeling that it could have been so much more. Bleh.

And I still haven't played co-op :(

But it would be p. cool with orks as a third multiplayer faction, and 3-team pvp maps, and updated voices, and...yeah, nevermind.

I'll doubt they'll ever release that, ex. The spess mehreen/renegade characters all use the same models and shit, so it's easy to make them player characters. Orkses would need more work than I'd expect them to bother with for DLC.

edit: FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF-
I hate when that happens. :M

So it's multiplayer only? That's p. lame. What else does single player miss?
