AAA level visuals

inXile 3D models from previously released and upcoming titles will be available for purchase on TurboSquid’s marketplace. The move will make production-tested, AAA models available to professional, indie, and hobbyist game developers.

combined with MMO gameplay.

Co-op games can be just as popular as MMOs, if not more so.

What does mean about not going "full AAA", hasn't he seen the AAA Wasteland 2 assets?

Anyway, between Fargo's new console fans with their deep pockets and "reality show" oldschoolers like this guy inXile's future looks bright indeed. :salute:

In all honestly even haters gotta admit Wasteland 2 got better on the second half

Rodia, Angel Oracle are great. Holywood is pretty good. Encounters and difficulty are better, better world radio banter, more C&C, better map layout, more small locations.
Angle Oracle is not great, Hollywood is pretty bad, encounters and diffiiculty is worse, worse world radio banter, shit C&C, shit map layout, more filler location

That guy is retarded. Scam Citizen shit only worked because his game promised AAA level visuals combined with MMO gameplay.

Scam Citizen only worked because the space genre fanboys (mostly ex-Eve Online players) are the biggest brainless drones in gaming history. Seen one of them say on Reddit that the game could crash and burn after he spent $1000+ on it and he would still consider it money well spent just for a dream of what the game could be like.

You are an idiot. If that was true, the other space genre kickstarters would have been mucht more successfull. So, no. Star Citizen combined the AAA levels of visuals with AAA levels of marketing, that's why it worked.

The Fig campaign will have a goal of $2.75 million with equity capped at $2.25 million, and Fargo says he’s also searching for a publishing partner to contribute some portion as well.
I look forward to the inevitable announcement that WL3 will be a timed PS4 exclusive in return for partial funding from Sony.

Say what you will about inExile but I don't think we need to associate them with Nu Man's Sky.

So let me get this straight, they started with kickstarter, released a few games that sold quite well, but after each project they ask for more money. Why? oh because people are throwing money at them... ok...

They are on Kickstarter to fund console development, not PC. They can easily make a PC game with what they've earned, but since they know that most PC gamers are stupid enough to fund console development, they'll keep fund-raising.

I bet the Evil Publisher put the gun in Brian Fargo's mouth and threatened to kill him unless he agreed to their terms... To make the game they want. Poor Brian.

All quest are new, there is no c&c for any Arizona action in CA.

Not quite true, the companions you bring with you from Arizona matters a bit with regards to the final battle and ending slides. :M

Bad quoting. I said

Apart for npcs you take to CA, the second part of the game could be a separate game. All quest are new, there is no c&c for any Arizona action in CA.

So yeah, we agree :)

You did not contested the greatness of Rodia :P
Ok Angel Oracle is not great, but very good, sorry I wrote too fast. Hollywood has the best in the whole game interconnections between locations. The quest lines between Priests and Holywood are well integrated and complementary. Encounters and difficulty are not worse. Difficulty is noticeably higher and we have a few great encounters: Farm trap, battle against Robinson, battle against Durg is also good. Rodian C&C and questlines are a top notch. Like all maps layouts are far better than in Arizona. And if you do not count small maps with one quest in them as filler locations, there is none.
