No, I meant, the ignore thread button on the top of the threads.
Once you ignore a thread, it no longer shows up when browsing a sub-forum or when checking the new threads.

That button doesn't show up when you watch the whole forum. For example if i watch "General Gaming" forum, there's no option to ignore "Assassin's Creed Shadows" thread.No, I meant, the ignore thread button on the top of the threads.

I just did a test and the button still shows up just fine for me, even if I watch the sub-forum (which I didn't know was a thing).That button doesn't show up when you watch the whole forum. I would ask for support if it is not showing for you, but also, maybe try unwatching the forum, ignoring the thread and the re-watching it?
