Seems the devs understand that this is pretty much the only aspect that set RA apart from other RTSs.

Compare RA1 and RA2 videos that contain pretty charismatic actors (Jo Kucan, Kari Wuhrer, Udo Kier, bah the whole Soviet side of RA1) and don't try to be more than they are to this failed attempt at a "hollywoodish AAA trailer for a serious sci-fi movie" and see.
Besides RA1 and RA2 weren't retarded and trashy. You didn't have samurais slashing tanks with swords and schoolgirls killing everyone with magic. RA series always were more on an unserious sci-fi side but never on a retarded wapanese one.
