TibSun was the middle ground between the jank of the earlier games and the more refined Red Alert 2. Then Generals came out and it was back to jank. C&C 3 came around and was a lot tighter, then Red Alert 3 was released and became a lot closer to an e-sport compared to the earlier games. It's tightly designed, but the focus is not something that everything enjoyed. And C&C 4... well, that was a mobile game for the Asian market turned into a "true" C&C game at the final hour because EA was being EA. And Rivals' core gameplay is not terrible, but the game's pay2win and having the Tiberium name attached to it dragged it down even more.
