I noticed Saint did a review of KotOR, but I didn't see one for KotORII.

Just curious.

Well, I started writing one myself. I was all excited because I was ready to spend a few thousand words bashing the shit of that game, but I somehow lost interest and put it off for so long that eventually, it was March or so and the game had come out (IIRC) in November of the previous year, so it seemed the opportune moment to bash it had passed. I mean, if we were to publish a review of it now, it'd kind of suck because there's no more KOTOR2 bubble to pop.

As for everyone else on staff, I can only assume they're just lazy bastards.

Did it suck for the same reasons as the first sucked. Because, Saint actually gave it a good review to help with codex street cred. Well actually I wouldn't call it a good review. He too, bashed every aspect of the game, until the very last sentence when he said, but I liked it, the end.

Heh, the game's been released for the better part of a year, and Saint's "working" on one.

I didn't realize that was the entire reason for the Codex.

Anyways, I would think a review of KotORII even if the bubble has popped, would be good only in that it IS one of the precious few PC RPG's that are out. Sadly.

VD's review was interesting.

No, actually, Killzig was writiing one. He emailed it to me, but it got mangled by either his or our mail server - and he didn't save it.

Can I write a review for KOTOR2?

I've only played the first one, but I think they're pretty much the same.

Because from what I've heard the second one is even worse than the first one. I thought the first one was pretty damn bad and boring to begin with.

Shouldn't be that hard. Jedi here, Sith there... I could be done before supper.

Seriously, Shirley. You must be kidding, Shirley. There's no way you can be serious, Shirley. I mean... BEFORE supper? Surely a person with such fine literary talent such as you, Shirley, could write a review AFTER supper? I mean, come on Shirley, make it hard on yourself.

My review: Player wakes up in his/her undies. Player learns to use the Force. Player becomes a Jedi. Player is eventually attacked by enemies. Player character gets pissed off. Player kill enemies. Player learns about terrifying secret. Player kill everybody against him/her.

Features: Do quests. Engage in dialogue. Choose between red or blue aura.

Edit: I have to confess I cheated. I have played the game. But I'm sure Shirley is in no need of trying out things.

That's just plain ol' stupid. When you write a review of a game, it helps if you play it and not just base it on other people's opinions and such. Key words: From what I've heard. Not what you've actually done.

Yeesh, I was only messing around.

I don't care enough to even play the game, much less write a review.

Errorcode's review fails to fully explore the rushed nature of the last fourth of the game (the plot wierdness with respect to the droids, the jarring story flow once you arive on the last planet, the odd inconsistencies towards the end - like how the ebon hawk gets totaled and then its magically ok, the poor/unsatisfying ending, etc). Frankly, I enjoyed the game ALOT through most of it until I got to the home stretch and wanted my money back.
