DU probably feels very conflicted
he is a free speech absolutist but over the years he has seen the political movement that he always considered himself a part of (democrats/left/socialist) stray further and further into anti-free speech territory
i feel like every year or two he feels the need to make a tokenistic appeal to this factional loyalty and thus "ban" one of the staunchly right wing members. it's all a big show, he will probably feel bad and reinstate iren in a few days. the real question is this mod team. i like infinitron, but you HAVE to admit the mod team is quite jew/tranny heavy. these members make up 1% of the forum but make up ~50% of the mod team. Crispy is also suspected jewish until proven otherwise.
i feel the entry of some new members like
agentorange Thor Kaufman into the mod team would have a great impact on the site overall. these are stand up dudes, never bitched out, never snitched or simped, and they have been here for solid decade+ providing good insights into many topics. I would even throw HG and LS names into the hat, the father(s) of codex ideology.
