Nobody except them is entitled to shit.
I guess the difference here is between two people that have been told that their behavior is off.

For example (completely unrelated, too), when Prosper was told that his behavior was off, he continued with his behavior dialing it up to 11, and never even thinking (as far as we know) to change it.

Meanwhile, when I (and maybe others too) pointed out to Theodora that she has less than 10 posts in the RPG sections so far, she started posting in the RPG sections more.

So, bottom line the issue is not the past, or the character of the people involved. It is the attitude towards the future and the respect towards the idea of why we're here.
But, yes... on the note that "this is our establishment", as per stipulated in the rules, no one can object if someone gets kicked for literally no reason. Funny, however, how so few get kicked when they're a reasonable person. Quite fascinating, actually.
This extends to every site, ever. First time I got booted off Twitter was because I made fun of some random jew journalist. Bam, just like that, 2 years of posting online erased coz some jannissary didnt like what I said and pressed a button.

As for the rules, they are always arbitrary.

You're right. I'm not going to say you're not. I got shafted too because I told another player on the Dark Souls Steam forums that all they have to do to defeat a boss is open their eyes.

I found, however, that The Codex has pretty reasonable standards for RPG debates. Of course, the standards for discussing another person's genitalia obsessively for minutes/hours/days on end... that one is a test I'm not interesting in running. But, apparently, it doesn't run for long.

it depends entirely on who owns the genitalia

Nope, at least in my case I'll ban anyone who refuses to stop being a creep when asked. Gender doesn't come into it, but it's helpful if people clarify that they don't consider it banter.

Dex is what it is because of the people that run it. I have never spoken to DU but he seems like a rabid libertarian and only uses executive power when something annoys him. Fair enough for me.

hey, I'm just spitballing here but, maybe making a resetera user a moderator isn't the best idea guys
Again you need a tissue? Because you see to have taken an holy mission to cry about it.
The good part is that you'll probably die from old age before you get to ruin the site.
Hope and pray. Because it will be a long journey child.
