Come on, man. You don't really believe KCD2 will be better than Avowed?

Put all the political bs aside. KCD2 looks as boring as a plank of wood. Authors imagined up fantasy settings for a reason. History is boring.
I like historical settings, and I enjoyed KCD greatly. I find fantasy cliche and boring instead, as these worlds don't make sense.

And a historical setting with peasant villages and over-use of brown colours isn't cliche?

no, there are very few RPGs in historical settings.

Make the Codex Great Again!
I say this as someone whose 2024 goty was Veilguard: there's no way I'm touching Avowed. Everyone's got their limit. It's just so unbelievably, comically pozzed and mediocre looking. Skyrim but without the world to back it up? A 20 hour campaign? Come on. I'll bet they pull the shit they did with Outer Worlds too where only the first area is fleshed out, so they fool the journalists into thinking the rest of the game isn't an afterthought and a hot mess.

Oh well, I guess some people prefer being buggered by blue fishmen. It's their business and preference, still

There's thousands of years of civilization in human history and they chose run down cliche medieval villages. Kingdom Cucks just don't seem to realize the absolute shit they're being served.

Could you provide examples of games with a much better setting?

The Colosseum of Rome.

(that is not a game that exists, but would be far more interesting than kingdum cum delivered in the ass)

You people are disgust'ang.

Avowed will have good gameplay, that much is evident from the gameplay trailers. Pillars of Eternity was never a good setting, doesn't matter to me, Avowed is the new Skyrim and it will innovate on the gameplay. That much is enough for me to buy it a few days after release after my assumptions are either proven right or the game flops because of bugs or failing to deliver on the basic principles.

Pronouns are your problem? Get f*cked, look at Veilguard and compare the two games. The first adds pronouns for players worldwide, the second adds breast surgery into the lore of the setting, there's a difference.

KCD2 most likely, depending on 'dex impressions in the first days after release.

Avowed is 99% likely to be very shit, so I don't think I will give it a try.

My God, I'm terrified of sharing the same planet with you because I fear your stupidity is so powerful it could infect me from any corner of the Earth.

And while waiting for a game of KCD production values set in Rome (Colosseum only seems quite limiting) I'll be having some great time in medieval Bohemia.

You should save your money for the Oblivion remake.
Why? I played Oblivion once, when it released. Don't need another version, only a more shitty one.

Besides when it comes to generic settings, few locations in rpgs come close to Oblivion's interpretation of the Imperial Province.

Medieval Bohemia of KCD has much more character.

I was joking.

Oblivion and KCD are the same thing. They're both generic with their settings, but at least in Oblivion I can shoot a fireball up an Imp's ass.

You're just coping bro. It's okay.

Your game is shit. Stop seething and just accept it. And save your money for the Oblivion remake, alright?
