Honestly I never got the fuss people make with FOV in games. I can't remember a game where the default value bothered me, let alone made it unplayable.

Eh, it can be pretty jarring with first person shooters.
It tends to be far less annoying with third-person action games, to be honest, so let's admit people are a bit overreacting on this.

I've never had problems with regards to getting headaches from playing but it gets annoying. A FOV of 50-70 (which is quite common in console-ported FPS) just looks like shit and playing it forces you to look around like a spastic retard. Anything 80+ is alright, though I prefer an FOV around 100-110.

People react to it because it's literally the easiest thing in the world to change in your game. There is no reason not to have an FOV slider unless you've never even tested your game on a PC monitor.

The Witcher 3 doesn't do quest markers

As he travelled the woods, activating the sense gave him clues--highlighted in red--as to the beast's strength, habits and traits

:nocountryforshitposters:

Huge difference between having a quest compass like Skyrim and an option to show you the direction.
