I dunno why, but this guy makes me laugh since EFBB.
He is an awesome designer, but I'm not sure how he will perform as a producer.

i dunno, who are these guys again?
Machinegun?

MachineGames aka core Starbreeze staff.
Unfortunately, Lizardking is still in Starbreeze, which makes me sad. But at least Jerk can jerk around again.

Wolfenstein is cinematic now and has lensflare:

I noticed huge amount of LAG in texture loading when the player rapidly turns around in that video, like what happened with RAGE.

Id tech 5 and megatexture will be the bane of this game.

this might aswell have been Call of Duty: Wolfenstein or Medal of Honor: Nazi Warmachine, since so much in those videos have been in other FPS games.

Welp, this game is doomed. If there was ever a game that doesn't need that cinematic bullshit, it's Wolfenstein. Watching the trailer feels like watching some shitty Hollywood game-to-movie adaptation, like they just took some b-rate action script, found an unused license, and kind of smushed them together. And why does he keep talking about fucking Wolfenstein 3D? That game belongs in a museum. Nobody on planet earth wants a follow up to Wolfenstein 3D. All his team had to do was take Return to Castle Wolfenstein, make it prettier, and bam - best FPS of the year. Just give me some cool Nazi guns, Nazi castles, and fast-paced twitchy shooting. It's a simple formula. That footage somehow looks like a worse version of Killzone.

I can't be arsed to watch the video, but the only - and I literally mean only - thing I want from a Wolfenstein game is Chicken Dinner health packs.

I imagine it will be BLOOD RED VISION REGENERATING HEALTH, probably. I should watch the video.

I like the fact that health don't regenerate fully and when you have 5 points of health, the health regenerate to 20 points and stop, the rest only with medpacks but there is nothing stopping them from placing medpacks from 2m and 2m and make medpacks irrelevant anyway. The best they had to show was a slow car tour CoD style and walking in boring concrete debris that had misteriously fallen in linear fashion, terrible manancing robot dogs that love to be stuck in concrete and a powerful robot capable of throwing the character to the other side of the screen but unable do destroy a thin sheet of concrete used as cover? The enemies are strangely bullet spongy or it is the weapons that lack punch? That part where he say that they are trying to mix modern and old shooter characteristics, I can bet that by old shooters characteristics he means only health packs, all the rest is CoD stuff. I'm trying to remain positive about this game but if this is the best they can show...

I believe he said health would regenerate to "the next 20", which would imply it regenerates at any point between multiples of 20 up to the next multiple.

A health system like what they're purportedly implementing would be cool as long as they're not gratuitous with the health pickups chicken dinners.

I like the feel of the guns and enemies a lot. Apart from the beginning path, the environments look like they might open up a lot, so I'm hoping they have actual level design in mind. RTCW has some of my favorite level design in a run-and-gunner (the burning secret weapons facility was so amazing), and IIRC even Wolf '09 had something to flaunt for its levels apart from the gimmick doors. Keeping in mind that all these E3 demo pieces of shit have godmode turned on so the demonstrators don't fuck up, it looks like it has the potential to be more menacing should the developers choose to make it actually challenging.

I'll definately give it a go, with the first launch of previous Wolf game I was pissed off, gaem felt like Return to Call of Wolfenstein but the more I doved into it, the more i liked it. Never would have hoped The New Order is to reach Return to Castle Wolfenstein's level of quality but got my fingers crossed for it not being inferior to its predecessor.
