Never played it, but it should be on my play list later this year.
It looks better than the Ravenloft games and Menzoberensan. I hope it is.

Yes, it's much better although the second Ravenloft game is still pretty cool in my books. Thunderscape's not great but it's alright and it's got combat very similar to Wizardry 8 and Wizards and Warriors, which puts it lightyears ahead of those Ravenloft games.

It was pixelated because of technological limitations.

And how? If one grew up with such games, it's easy to play them. For the rest, there are dosbox filters that can reduce pixelation.

I had no idea this game even existed but another free movement blobber with TB combat is to me so I bought it. Pretty cool stuff.
Also, the monster sprites in this look pretty friggin' cool. Better looking than Daggerfall at least.
