That's too bad. At least they're making it known now instead of letting players find out the hard way. How extensive were the changes to XCX anyway? I remember they also based the TMS Switch port on its NA version (while not advertising this fact), and the changes Treehouse made for NA had been so extensive that when it was first confirmed Nintendo of Japan ended up apologizing and allowing JP players to return their copies/cancel their pre-orders w/ full refunds.Apparently its based on the censored NA version.

IIRC no boob slider for the female character and at least one of the characters had her outfits censored so that she was fully covered. That's too bad. This is the codex, obviously the better version is the one with the lighter character modelUh, which one of those is the 'improved' version? Because the background is utterly fucked in the second one and the character is glowing like a night light.
It's much better than 2 or 3. The characters are better although still fall into a lot of anime tropes, and the plot is a standalone scifi one instead of the convoluted nonsense of the main series. There's also cool stuff like the skells and a more open and interesting world. If I liked Xenoblade 1 but dislike 2 and hated 3, can I have fun with this one?
And they also forgot to change the quest names with "Doll" in them because whoever was making these changes was doing it to justify their job, not because it was neededAlso, if I'm not mistaken, the localization made sure to remove a lot of religious references and terms, as well as changing the name of certain elements to make them sound "cooler". For example, the mechs went from being called Dolls (called so because of being made humanoid yet serving as nothing more than tools, which ties to the plot of the game) to Skells (exoskelletons)
