Planescape: Torment, Fallout 1 and 2 here. I haven't gotten around to playing much of the Ultima games, but have a feeling that VII will be on that list as well when I finally do from what I've heard/seen of it.

I'm in the minority here in that I was just bored to tears after a point by Arcanum- the character generation was fun, as was the npc interacton, city of Tarant, and etc. I finally got tired of going through endless damn dungeon crawls every time I wanted to advance the story, which I also just didn't find entertaining- You're the incarnation of a messiah-like figure here to destroy the Evil One! *snore* After the 5th or 6th dungeon, slogging away Icewind Dale style with the game's godawful combat, I just couldn't take anymore.

To the folks that pulled Buck Rogers out, bravo. I think that's the game I have the fondest young memories of by far.

Either that or Fallout 1 wins.
