Nothing interesting in the text though, besides perhaps a mention of new quests - to join New Camp you will have to participate in raid of Old Camp's convoy. We've already seen some in-game footage and this current version of the game, probably started development in the 2nd half of 2020

As to why AA and AAA games nowadays take longer to make, it's simply more expensive nowadays and the bar for production "quality" is more demanding

The only reason I have a modicum of interest in this at the moment is because the lead writer of Enderal and Spellforce 3 took up the helm as lead writer on this at some point. Won't mean shit if the Spaniards fuck up the gameplay as much as I think they will, but I at least know the writer has a good couple games behind him.

How fucking pathetic is this shit? They show off merchandising before showing us any changes done - if they were done at all - to gameplay or atmosphere.

If they mean to keep the same shit from the demo, this shit will just plain be dead on release.
