Which is why I rarely pick up and read Fantasy Novels written by Female authors. There are a few I like, but most of them eventually get around to romantic relationship themes, which really dont hold any interest to me.

Im not saying females aren't just as capable authors, but for the most part males and females don't think the same way and femal authors usually dont write about what Im interested in.

I knew that the ending of the MotB sucked, but I didn't realise just how MUCH, until I finally finished it. From the Supplicant Gate on, the game was so lame, it hurt. Meh. I can't believe how stupid it was.

My character willingly accepted Akachi as a part of her and his drive to complete the Crusade. And I've got nothing for it. NOTHING. Unless you count a giant male figure outline in my epilogue in place of my petite female character!!!

Uhm, I liked the OC ending much more. It was drammatic and bitter-sweet when I thought that we all died trying to defeat an overwhelming foe.

I wouldn't say that any of the MOTB endings are works of beauty, the slides and voice acting still aren't great. But they end the story, no cliffhangers and they have consequences for your actions in game, which is all an RPG ending really needs. Comparing them to the OC endings is silly.

Naturally any comments by that Merlinda chick are completely batshit insane. She mentioned being unable to play IWD II due to it's 'insane difficulty' (no she wasn't talking about HOF) and she clogs up the modding board with useless crap about modding the IE games and stupid questions (Apparently she can't read faqs either). Since I spend a lot of time on the modules/toolset/scripting boards, this annoys me.
