It was mentioned in the kickstarter thread. While it looks kinda pointless as a game (unless massively enhanced with stuff to do besides putting rooms in different orders) I did have a laugh at the Ayn Rand propaganda angle.

I don't know if anybody noticed this, but an additional 20 games got greenlit.

Age of Decadence will soon get its turn...

Right, Thursday, almost forgot.

Either way, what's so special about AoD? Apart from being a sluggish, clustered crash-prone outdated piece of shit?
It is the only modern skill driven Turn based RPG with real choice and consequences and real challenge?

May be chaos chronicles. But we haven't demo'd that yet.

Perhaps we should put a sticky on the Codex front page encouraging people to vote for it in the last few days before each Greenlighting?
I don't think it matters at this stage (i.e. I doubt that being bumped up from #18 to, say, #12 would increase our chances). From the email Steam sent it seems that they are taking a look at the top 100 games and we're already there.

From what I have heard about Steam's evaluation practices, they're looking at approving projects that are close to release first and foremost. I have faith in AoD being approved, but it's probably going to happen a bit closer to October 2013. ;)

2) October 15th, 2012
3) November 30th, 2012
4) January 15th, 2013

@ Crooked Bee:

Most likely. Approving games that aren't ready to be released is sort of pointless, so I don't expect Steam to consider it at this point. We put it on Greenlight to generate some awareness and show the game to people who are interested in indie games, not to get Steam's attention. In fact, I'm kind of surprised that we were voted that high.
