When Knights of the Chalice 2 was released to backers following the successful conclusion of its crowdfunding campaign back in 2020, it was assumed that the game would soon become available to everyone. However, it quickly became clear that it was in no shape for launch and that the backer build was effectively an Early Access release, as documented by Darth Roxor in our preview. Pierre continued to update the game throughout 2021 in his characteristic fashion, promising that it would be appearing on Steam any day now. It took a while, but the Steam page for KOTC 2 finally showed up yesterday with a release date of March 25th, along with a new six minute trailer showcasing the game's swanky new isometric visual style.
