RPGVault has posted shotgun interview part 14 asking their one liner questions and getting everyone from Reflexive to answer. This time, they're asking about what characters the developers don't play, but would like to play, in Lionheart. Here's Eric Dalliare's answer:

Jonric: What are a couple of character types you'd like to play but haven't had the chance to play very much yet, and why do they appeal to you?

Eric Dallaire
Designer and Lead Writer, Reflexive Entertainment

One character type that I'd like to play soon is a character that tags the following skills - Dominate, Diplomacy and Sneak. (In the SPECIAL system, 'tagging' a skill gives you more points to spend for that skill). Using Sneak, I could avoid encounters or scout out enemy areas. With Diplomacy, I can use the speech skill to talk my way out of some major nasty encounters, and with the Barter skill, I can save bags of gold while dealing with the shifty merchants of Barcelona.

For those times when my 'feets fail me' and my mouth has me in hot water, the spells of the Dominate branch still allow me to get through encounters without spilling blood... or at least my blood. The Charm spell allows me to control the mind of an enemy for a time and use that creature as a companion. The Discord spell will turn several hostile enemies against one another. One tactic I like to employ is to sneak up to guards in a narrow corridor that might be too difficult to sneak through, drop a Discord, and then continue on through as the guards fight each other.

Thus, allowing a player to beat the game without actually having to lift a weapon himself. While not a totally pacifist method, it's better than nothing.
