the more I read old threads the more I get the feeling that there is never a "good ol' days" of RPGs. it's always the same kind of shit that's popular and the codex is always a bunch butthurt edgelords.

In retrospect, that was an insanely cool trailer. Very mood-setting. I haven't seen anything like that in a long while.

All I can say about Planescape: Torment (which I've yet to give a proper try) is that it managed to capture my attention when compared to the rest of the 2E D&D cRPGs.

The game is 16, I can even fuck all 4 disks in some states, and you yet didn't give it a proper try?

Mostly because when I got out of the crematory I was like "fuuuuck this is huge, I'm outta here". But after playing some other classic RPGs (Baldur's Gate, Arcanum) I'm ready.
