I don't want to place them anywhere near LeShitian Studios.
This has to be unironically THE best post I have ever read. I think I nearly died from laughing.I check my mirror every morning, I tell lies by the dozens, I've even tried ancient Chinese reconstruction techniques but to no avail. My nose will simply not grow any further. I can never evolve into being a Jew and only caring about the shekels a game makes. The part that a mere commoner like me gets to enjoy, the gameplay, matters not when stacked up against the sales.
I hope one day I can truly become a Jew and grow wings and take to the skies to join my goblinoid-harpy brethren. I've decided, like many Jews of both pure blood and fledgling evolution, my first feat to specialize in will be Vicarious Success (though I may choose Deceptive Holocaust Statistic). I can almost feel the glory, the joy, that is sitting on my chair and clutching my two testicles while my leg shakes uncontrollably and watching the sales of a game rise or fall and making my decision on whether it is worthy or not based upon this.
All I want for Christmas is to celebrate Hanukkah.
Ahhh in a pure sale number capacity, most likely you are right. But as profit margin....well i am not so sure about,it could be that kingmaker made more money than pillars. Still that is pretty hard to tell without any concrete numbers. The first Pillars of Eternity sold better than Kingmaker. I'd recommend you wait and see how their sequel does before putting them mentally on the same level as Larian Studios
Keep your eyes on Humble Bundle in December as well, as we’ve got a huge Pathfinder First Edition bundle coming in the very near future. We’ve included comics and rulebooks in several past bundles, but next month’s effort will provide a huge number of never-before-bundled game books for anyone looking to master the lore of the Age of Lost Omens. Keep watching this space for more details, and get thee to the (virtual) comic shop! The Pathfinder Comics Cache awaits!

All hail the great shekel god.I check my mirror every morning, I tell lies by the dozens, I've even tried ancient Chinese reconstruction techniques but to no avail. My nose will simply not grow any further.
See, here's your problem. First you must "shed thy foreskin". Only when the now purified flesh of your dick is touched by the eternal moonlight will you receive further blessings.
Don't ask me how I know it or I'd have tokill youmake a profit by selling your organs to please the great Shekel Man.
Finally, a reason to roll a LG paladin.reading the thread, you'd think the new game is pathfinder : jewmaker
people on discord are saying a dev spoiled it s Wrath of the Righteous.
Taking a look at it in higher detail, it's clear the pic is broken up into jigsaw pieces.
Assuming this pic is from the new game, I think we can rule out Jade Regent (the towns were smaller, more snowy or less european) and Reign of Winter (the towns were smaller, had an absent landmark in the only area this could be "photographed", more snowy, non-human, or more modern), though neither stood out to me as particularly likely in the first place. Too peaceful for Wrath of the Righteous, though again never a good choice. I'll refamiliarize myself with the big towns visited in Rise of the Ruinlords latter today see it could remotely be them (though it's definitely not Sandpoint). Edit: Likely not Iron Gods either, since the settlements either have gaps between the houses or are polluted messes (and higher tech).
Edit: The settlement doesn't appear to have a wall, at least not in the direct we're seeing. That actually cuts out a lot. So much in-fact I'm doubting it's a representation of any town that exists in an AP and not just random art. That or the art just isn't clear on it having a wall.
edit: It may be Kintargo, the main city of Hell's Rebels. It has one side with no wall, because that side has a river protecting it. That area is also the marketplace and named Redroof because "residences of Redroof possess a distinctive look compared to the rest of Kintargo". All the buildings look like they could have red roofs! The east-facing whole city illustration has Redroof blocked from view, but the outside of the city is compatible. I'm going to guess revealed segments will change the scene from peaceful city to it under martial law.
One of the instagram comments suggest Curse of the Crimson Throne, but I doubt it. Korvosa also has one open side, for the same reason, but that area is the second worst slum in the city and has low building density. The picture clearly isn't that.
Something's not right here...All I want for Christmas is to celebrate Hanukkah
Wrath of The Righteous would make for a good video game in my opinion, but Owlcat wasn't that great at balancing their game initially. I have no idea what would happen if they attempted to take on Pathfinder's Mythic rules.

Yes, but I think a lot of the biggest issues with WoTR could be solved if it was a computer game. I don't believe Owlcat would be capable of solving the issues with the Mythic rules, however.Wrath of The Righteous would make for a good video game in my opinion, but Owlcat wasn't that great at balancing their game initially. WoTR is a terrible AP and Mythic is a terrible system.
If any of the PCs has the Touched by Divinity campaign trait, when they defeat the Templars and Zanedra in the fane, a staggering thing occurs. The entire structure suddenly begins to shake and vibrate, and light and energy coruscates over the walls and statues in the complex. As the PCs watch, the defiled structure reverts—its wall carvings and statues regain their original appearance before the fall of Sarkoris. The PC who has the Touched by Divinity campaign trait glows with this same energy, and that PC alone can see the agents of his deity as they move about the fane, reworking the statues and carvings. One of these minions appears before that player at the end of the event to personally thank him. This minion is visible to all party members, and all can hear the minion’s revelation that the PC’s deity has been waiting for this moment to reveal the truth of his heritage—the PC is the child of the deity. At your discretion, the deity’s herald may even manifest before the player to deliver this message. No additional boons or rewards (apart from the completion of a mythic trial for that PC) are granted—this is merely a long-delayed explanation for the character that reveals truths about his past

If you think all Evil creatures are in cahoots then you've got a very narrow understanding of alignment. There are plenty of reasons a Chaotic Evil character might join a crusade against demons. The problem with most APs is that they are not made for evil characters especially Wrath of the righteous. I mean what reason should a chaotic Evil char have to join some crusade against demons? If they really use it then there won't be as many role-playing options like in Kingmaker

I'd double down and say they're (at least) on the same level now. AFAIK none of the newer Obsidian writers have proven to be as competent as the older ones, I haven't bought TOW so don't know how much Cainarsky had to do with the writing there, and - just personally - preferred the wiriting/mental level/structure of PK to POE anyway.
Still, my post was a bit of a troll at Sawyer's expense. He essentially admitted that he doesn't know what fun is - when the Codex always seemed to assume that it was just never allowed under his watch.
FTFYThey haven't even released their game, and already people are doom-saying. Is this the infamous codex realism that I've been hearing so much about?
