Seems he is trying to make this game you want for free while being fucked over by the guy with the money if there is any left. I still don't think that makes him a scammer and the only thing you are going to do by antagonizing him is make him stop making the game for free and tell the project to fuck off. He may get paid eventually by this appleton character or he may not but IDK. How long has he been working for free? what's his payment model like with the appleton guy? Hes been working for free for 3 years. And I'm really not on about JP. JP and I have a history for 3 years now and I never personally attacked him until now. I honestly like the guy. Has the biggest balls ive ever seen and comes toidefend his game everywhere. has for the last 3 years regardless of how harsh things became. hes stood there with tenacity like ive never seen.

It doesn't appear to be an outright scam against the backers because somebody is working on it. If anybody should be pissed off it's the JP guy (aka the dupe) who may or may not own the Game at this point. He definitely should refuse to do any work at all on the game until this is sorted out because if he releases the game and appleton gets all the profit from a released game and JP gets nothing.. that would be even shittier.

This seems like more a case of bad business decisions and the original kickstarter guy trying to find a fall guy like you mentioned. The game will most likely fail unless JP turns into Cleveland Mark Blakemore but I hope for his sanity he doesn't.

Seems it's time to move onto another game and just forget about this one. Also, lessons to learn, don't donate money to a crowd-funded MMO. That has got to be the worst idea I've ever heard.

Plenty of famous Codexers ADHD people didn't have it in them to get it, went ahead on spilling their 'Edge' anyway. So eventually, not only did i have more retarded posts to read for my pleasure, but i now see True(TM) Drama ensued on top of it! Doubly ironic since i had no intention of trolling/ridiculing, couldn't give a fuck about monger or its "victims"..

It's been a long time in the making... I've had my family since day 1 telling me I should be careful with Jason, I've had Dark and others on MMORPG.com telling me for a couple years at least that I should get away from Jason and do my own thing. The last couple years working on GM hasn't been much fun since Jason threatened me with a Lawsuit if I left. I was now being forced in my eyes to be there instead of working on it because it was something I enjoyed. The last week or 2 was the worse when the stress started giving me physical issues... GM and Jason aren't worth loosing my life over because of the stress it's putting me under.
