I've had gay stalkers before, Zepo, but you qualify as one of the most persistent and amorous lawn gnomes who has ever followed me home from work discreetly slowly fondling himself.

I'm sure it sucks for you having someone call you on your bullshit in a public forum when it's warranted. But instead of addressing said bullshit...

"YOU'RE GAY" -Cleveland "Soy Boy Mark" Blakemore.

That's your argument response for the last 20 years. Pathetic really.

I need time to study the holy pages.

As such, I shall take my leave from this distinguished brotherhood to labor in solitude. Please my brothers, take no offense from my actions, know in thee hearts that it is in preparation of the incline cometh..

No info how stats work. Disappointed.

As I've said. It's all shit from the tool tips and other readily available informational screens in game.

BEST JOKE EVER, CLEVE!

18 month wait..for this.

LOL

Why dont you explain what stats do exactly?

Stats do nothing.

What's with the unhealthy attraction to Cleve?

Zep Zepo , sometimes I feel that you use the signature under every post as an anchor to the earth plane, all the rest of you seems to have been dragged down into hell by the sheer fucking weight of your hatred for Cleve. Chill the fuck out dude. Even if you're correct about Cleve, you're just being severely retarded by behaving this way all the time.

The five year old-like sig doesn't help much your case either.

More to the point : I'm curious as to how this manual was made, and if it can be dynamically updated. I'm more interested in that (and what it implies about the coding style of the entire game), than the actual contents.
Grimoire is kind of fascinating to me as a programming project, as I am certain it is a bit like a living fossil. A good write up regarding the code by Cleve would be very interesting. If the game sells well enough, maybe considering an open source license could be an idea.

I remember Cleveland Mark Blakemore writing parts of how he generated the manual somewhere, but I cannot find it.

Does anyone else sing Grimoire to the Bravestar tune?......

The one I sing along to, thinking about the effete manboons, is:

Buddy, you're a boy, make a big noise
Playing in the street, gonna be a big man someday
You got mud on your face, you big disgrace
Kicking your can all over the place, singin'

We will, we will GRIMOIRE
We will, we will GRIMOIRE

Zepo you are a fag, making a big noise
Playing with yourself, gonna break that thing someday
You got cum on your face, you big disgrace
Watching gay porn all over the place
While we...
We will we will GRIMOIRE

I've just got a hack button on the main menu that kicks off a function that either prints .CSV or HTML Table files to disk from the data itself. What was really frustrating was after getting perfect formatting on the output tables that displayed correctly in any browser or the authoring tool I am using, once exported to HTML it was messing up the tables. (Colspan all wrong) My authoring tool also had no problems loading from those tables on disk into the program at the click of a refresh button. So everything was perfect until I went to generate .PDF or HTML output. Very frustrating, will probably have to port into Word document.

I don't know what kind of tools you're using, or how your work flow is, so probably what I'll say will be useless, but have you considered using an intermediary format made for documents (like LaTeX/TeX) and then go directly for PDF/HTML using the 3rd party tool?
