2. Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night - Also vaporware since it was announced 4 years ago and ALSO needed the help of a third-party (505 Games) in order to fulfill what was promised. (what is the point of making a crownfunding campaign if your just gonna end up signing a contract with a publisher anyway?) The prequel game was pretty good at least.

It was explained in the initial pitch video that they have a publisher but need Kickstater to prove that there's enough demand.

The PC Gamer writer makes sure to point out his disgust for the juveline humor approach to sex and how it's catering to horny men... and then you scroll down to the article's comments and it's all juvenile jokes from horny men.

Completely ignorant of his own audience.

Classic games journolol, writing about games they don't understand on a platform they don't care about for an audience they despise out of a sense of misplaced superiority. All that because no conventional media company will hire them for their writing.

The author of the article will be playing and fapping to the game just like everyone else.

I think Steam and Valve need to be commended more for their open approach to their storefront. In contrast, GOG love to champion themselves on social media as gamer-friendly and paragons of free speech, but they wouldn't even return our emails," I've reached out to GOG for a response to that claim and will update if it replies. "Meanwhile we've had zero problems with Valve even when we used their Source Engine for some of our previous movies.

Can you explain this, potatocucks?

And now we wait a 'few' years...
I thought they wanted to develop the game in "10 Chapters" and release one including Patches for the previously released one along the upcoming ones every few months, and the first one is slated for July in Early Access or something?

You didn't even bother to make a newspost about it while the Codex fundraiser was running.

The fundraiser was DU's idea, he should have posted about it! TBH I didn't even realize what it was until a couple of weeks had passed.

Yes, they will do exactly that, but its for the early access. Once all 10 chapters are done and they have the full game on their hands it will be available on Steam for the general audience.

By the way, they will reveal their road map of production on Kickstarter monday.

Weren't they hit by retardERA doxxers and fired some of their people and started catering to sjwhinners?
That would explain lack of Grimoire and Subverse.

Yes. I have no idea where the fuck this "paragons of free speech" shit comes from. They fired a guy because REEEEEsetEra demanded it all over absolutely nothing.

Why? Why in tarnation would I want to slog through some tacked on shovelware gameplay just to get to the porn? And StudioFOW makes absolute bottom tier animations. Western attempts at H are pig disgusting in general, this thing is a WHY vortex.

How is it worse than one of those Japanese games where you have to sit through 3 novels worth of text so that you can see a JPEG of a naked 12 1200 year old? At least this one HAS gameplay.

Roadmap Update #1 - May 2019
As promised, here is our development roadmap! We'll be publishing updated versions as we move along throughout the year to make sure you are kept as up to date as possible on the progress of the game.

However, please note we HIGHLY encourage joining us on both Twitter and Discord for the most up-to-date Subverse info and discussion. Ask questions, interact with other fans, talk about the game and more!

  • Please note that all dates are estimates and subject to change.
  • The recruitment phase in Q2 will play a big part in how smoothly this all coalesces. If we can get one or two extra world-class guys on our team, development will become more productive and efficient.
  • The script is not mentioned here but it's an overarching task that encompasses all three quarters. Right now we have written 3 chapters out of the intended 10. Chapter 4 should be finished at end of May.
  • Late summer is the first big milestone, which is that coveted steam early access build. Mark that on your calendars if you want to see how the game is shaping up.
  • Rewards and fulfillment will be the big priorities in May and June - we want to make sure all backers understand what they're getting. After the Kickstarter rewards are taken care of, we'll be in full production mode again
