I've played the tavern defense on TB, and all I needed was 15 turns. The game even tells you that you need to focus on the arsonists. You never have to attack anything else, as due to magnificent scripting anything else will just shatter in Irabeth's wall.

I realize that first time players may fall into this trap that "I have to kill as much as possible", but you really don't.

And the minotaur is a joke.
The real joke is making a wooden tavern your base of operations when your enemies have firebombs and demons on their side.

This game is cool and all but imagine if we were killing mummies and vampires instead of balors and succubi.
This is what - a Neutral Evil plane? AFAIK, mummies and vampires are not devils. I don't know the Planes lore about Neutral Evil; may be they are too preoccupied with themselves to participate in some grandiose schemes?
I'm talking about Pathfinder 3

We need a DLC centered on shadowfell.

Another plothole to the long list of plotholes in ch 1...

Seriously. OwlCat should let Cris to write everything from ch 1 to 6.

I loved that tavern though, feels cozy and comfortable, much prefer having it as my base of operations instead of that generic camp heh. Sad we can't revisit it in Chapter 2.

I thought those supplies during the Drezen siege would maybe top me off a little, you know, with all the shit that's going on outside and all...

I caved and bought it. Not proud of that decision. Initial impressions are that it's virtue signaling harder than any piece of media I've been exposed to before. The writing is appalling. Just shamefully bad. I don't give a single fuck about the story or any of the characters. I've just got the the point where I can recruit mercenaries and I've grabbed a couple. I'm getting more. All the companions I've met are horrible except Lann and the Asian chick.

It's also fucking raw. Plenty of class abilities don't have descriptions. Animations in the inventory screen are somehow worse than Kingmaker and that's really fucking saying something. Most of the character models make the ones from Outward look beautiful. Lots of jerkiness and jank, quite a few bugs, though none yet that I'd call game breaking. Lots of irritating stuff though, like a bug where I can't trade, characters randomly not doing their action in turn-based mode.

It's a harder game than Kingmaker, that's clear right out of the gate (I'm playing on core because people here were moaning about that difficulty). I consider that a positive. The combat is solid. Challenging. Really enjoyable.

One suggestion is to play something that can tank. I've sneaked a peak at the companions list and there seem to be no tanks on it except Lann. It's mostly archers and half casters. So I'm playing a human tower shield specialist built quite similarly to Valerie, but using the Acolyte background to run my persuasion off Wisdom (can get slightly higher stats and better will saves that way at seemingly no cost). Gonna do an intimidate build like I did with Val. A sword saint is arguably stronger but I've done that in Kingmaker already. There's also no bard, so I've recruited a Skald (a chaotic evil half-orc call Corpse Shitter). You're gonna need a bard or something like one. AC is high, just like in Kingmaker. Even with maxed STR I was missing quite a bit, so buffs are needed. I gave the negro lady paladin a reach weapon. Paladins are great but they aren't tanks. They excel on the second line, not the front. It's been working a treat so far. Edit: I respecced into sword saint and made the the aforementioned character as a mercenary. It's hard to play other classes once you've been a sword saint. They just shit on everything.

I love Kingmaker. It's woke, it's flawed in many ways, but I consider it a masterpiece. It's my favorite game. So far this game is not even half the game Kingmaker is. Technically it may become equal with enough patches, but artistically it is fucking trash. Just complete dreck. I'd hate it if it didn't have D20s in it. It's the videogame equivalent of joining a DnD game with a group of SJW furfaggots just because you're that desperate to play. But it's still DnD so you have fun anyway despite wanting to murder all of them.

I still play it. I've only really been into it for a few months and have over 1100 hours in the game. I still have a run in progress that I've paused to try this.
Did you also skip kingmaker companions?

No I love them. They're all reasonable builds and useful classes that are easy to put together into a solid team. I think they are well written and charming (except Regongar but he's chaotic evil so he's not supposed to be). I'd exlude the Kalikke and Kanerah from those statements. They're quite shit, from a writing perspective (and I couldn't find a use for them either). Tristian never appealed to me either as a build or a character. But I love all the others. I usually run with Linzi and Jubilost as mandatory team members, Harrim, Valerie and either Nok Nok or Amiri. All in their original classes, played to class. Fantastic party composition for challenging Diff.

A Beautifully Desolate Campaign
Looks like it's bugged with Feast of Blood bleed damage. Adds over 60 damage to the 2d6.
Seems fine for me. It just adds 2 damage for each die rolled, so I end up with 17d6+34 damage. I'm actually not quite sure how the 2d6 on a failed save is supposed to work, right now I believe it simply doesnt. It should either be 19d6 instead of 17d6 at casterlevel 17, or 34d6. But its the same damage roll no matter the saving throw.

How can you be atheist when gods and demons exist in the world?

"I REFUSE TO BELIEVE IN YOU, SIR" - to a demon lord.

It says right in the description that they don't dispute the existence of powerful beings, just that they deserve to be worshipped or are generally different than other powerful beings. In a world where mortals have ascended to godhood, it seems perfectly sensible to me.

When you know what fate awaits if you don't pay lip service to one of them, you must be quite retarded to be an atheist tbqh.

Inspire courage + good hope. Can pre-buff with good hope then inspire courage and haste on turn 1. I gave her a ring and cloak that boost her enchantment DCs, as well as greater spell focus enchantment and greater spell penetration and heighten spell. All points into CHA + the best CHA and dex items. Bard talents = combat trick. Point blank shot, precise shot, rapid shot, weapon focus.

Things Linzi can do:

- Buff the party and remove all challenge from combat.
- Heal almost as well as a cleric. Being a spontaneous caster and taking a healing spell at every level means you can effectively convert all remaining spells to healing when camping (I rarely need to heal in Kingmaker, but it's nice to have). She also gets a song that functions like channel positive energy, so guaranteed full heals on camping.
- Boost the party's skill checks when camping.
- Boost the party's skill checks in normal gameplay.
- Be a skill monkey/can opener.
- Help out a bit in combat with her flaming crossbow.
- Protect Jubilost by tanking with mirror image when the back line gets rushed.
- On the 15ish percent of enemies that aren't immune to mind effecting she can ruin their fucking day.

Taking her or Jubilost out of the squad is like turning the difficulty up. Support characters matter. As a character I like her positivity and I find her irreverence charming. I especially enjoy her interactions with Harrim. I forgave her for stealing. I can't stay mad at the little scamp.
